Fab Fit Fun Subscription Box

Hey Guys! I know I have been MIA lately. Life just got ahold of me and was literally holding me down. But I am back and ready to get back to sharing some of my favorite things with you. And what better way to start than with a fabulous subscription box. With summer already here, it is almost time for Fab Fit Fun (FFF) to send out their summer box.

Have you jumped on the FFF VIP subscription box bandwagon yet? If not you should. It is hands down my favorite subscription box. You get great full size products every season and it is only $49.99 per box. It is def worth the price. The spring box came with over $215 dollars’ worth of products. With the new summer box coming out shortly, I thought I would let you know what all came in the Spring Box:

Kai Perfume Oil which values at $48: It smells delicious and comes in a convenient roll on vial that you can take with you on the go.

Cover FX SPF 30 Protection Primer which values at $38: This primer is very hydrating and I could tell that it extended the wear of my makeup.

Merrithew Mini Stability Ball and DVD which values at $28.94: How awesome is it to get a workout with your box. What more could you ask for?!

Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt which values at $19.99: This mitt is amazing for exfoliating. Totally recommended!

Cult Gaia Turband which values at $48: I loved this. It was so cute, and it has a wire so it helps to shape the band and keep it in place all day.

Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Invisible Spray which values at $25: I was really excited to get this because I had been wanting to try Oscar Blandi products for a while, but they are a little on the expensive side, so when this came in my kit I jumped on it. It works wonders. Def worth the price. I may be buying more of their products in the near future.

Level Naturals Shower Bombs which values at $7.99: These are little flower shaped bombs that you drop in the bottom of your shower and they bring an aroma that really makes it feel as if you are having a spa experience right in your very own shower!

The Better Chip Spinach and Kale with Sea Salt which values at $1.99: These were surprisingly good. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about them, but they were really tasty. Now I just need to find out where to buy them.

So now that you know all of the awesomeness that comes in these boxes, sign up to get your summer box at https://vip.fabfitfun.com/index.php?subscribe=skipped. I promise with the past ones I have received you will not be disappointed. It is a whole lot of value for only $49.99 a season!

March IPSY Glam Bag

My March IPSY bag came and as always it filled me with a little (okay a lot) of joy.  Here is what came in my March bag:

Here is all that was included:

A supercute bag by klari for ipsy.  According to the bag, "the print of this exclusive ipsy makeup bag is a selection from artist Klari Reis' geography-based series, "Street Anatomy," and showcases San Fransisco, CA.  To view more from Klari visit her website at www.klariart.com."  I think it is super cute, and wonder if this is a trend ipsy is going to continue.

Nicole by OPI Roughles collection nail polish which doesn't require a top coat in "On What Grounds?"  I haven't tried this yet but by the looks of the bottle it looks like it has has a sand-like finish.  The color is a really pretty turqouise color and I'm excited to try it.  I think it's going to be a great summer color.

PACIFICA Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter which claims to be an intensely moisturizing cream with skin loving naturals.  It says it's a "a warm blend of sultry fresh coconut and delicate creamy vanilla."  It is 100% vegan and cruelty free.  The smell is weird.  It smells divine coming out of the bottle but weird when it hits your hands.  Like a weird all natural bathroom cleaner.  I will definitely be trashing this sample or re-gifting it.

be a ... bombshell eyeshadow quad in bora bora.  The colors included in the quad are Starlet, Bora Bora, Risky Business, and Rock Bottom.  They are all very vibrant colors and will look great come summer.  (BTW if you are a be a...bombshell lover or have ever wanted to try it get thee to that website now!  With ipsy they are running 40% off your entire purchase plus a free lip color!)

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Get Ready which is a dark pink/light mauve color.  I love all of Bare Minerals products (excluding their foundation) so I'm excited to try this product out.  And as a bonus, if you order from Bare Minerals this month through the end of April and use your ipsy code you get a free sample of their Lash Domination mascara and free shipping.

I can't wait to try the makeup and nail polish.  The three products together (lip, eye, and nail) will make a super cute summer ensemble with a white or cream colored dress and turquoise and brown accessories.

Can't wait to see what IPSY brings me for April!

Best Balm I've Tried

So I ran across Balanced Guru's Balm Me Up when I got a sample in last months ipsy bag. It was love at first slather. I immediately went online to buy and even with the ipsy discount it was still $45 (this was after shipping and tax were included) which is just way too much to spend on lotion in my opinion. But....it was just so wonderful I went to eBay to see if I could get it cheaper. I ended up buying five travel size bottles and spent about $25. I soon realized I was going through the small bottles super quick so I broke down and bought the bigger bottle. It came yesterday and I'm super excited. The bottle is bigger than I had expected and the packaging is very eco-chick.

A little info about the balm:  It's all organic as is the majority of Balanced Guru's products.  This one has cocoa butter, babassi oil, shea butter, sweet orange, lime, and mandarin.  It smells divine!!!  The bottle claims "to treat your whole body with a smooth and buttery balm.  Enriched with healthy butters and an invigorating blend of essential oils that will wake up your senses and moisturize your skin without leaving it greasy or tacky."  Now the last part is a lie, it definately leaves your hands greasy so I only use it at night.  I use that and mix it with a body oil and put on gloves and wake up every morning to the softest hands.  This is quite an expensive product for lotion, but for the smell and the moisture it delivers I have to say it is def worth the money.  This product can be purchased from Balanced Guru's website which is www.balancedguru.com and it is $45 plus shipping and tax for the 4 oz bottle and $12 plus shipping and tax for a 1 oz bottle.

And as a plus, they sent me a decent size sample of their No Frizz Oil for hair which I haven't tried, but if it's anything as amazing as the balm I'm sure it's awesome.

Tell Me I'm Not Alone in Suffering from Beauty PMS

Okay fellow beauty bloggers, please tell me I am not alone in suffering from PMS.  And no I'm not talking about that sneaky bitch that creeps up once a month.  I'm talking about Peeling Mask Syndrome.   What is Peeling Mask Syndrome you may ask?  Well I'm currently suffering from it and hating every minute of it.  Here is the lowdown.  No matter what I do I can never get a peeling face mask to actually peel all the way off.  I always have to scrub. No matter what I do.  Ive tried putting on more, putting on less, and still suffer.  I always end up having to scrub it off.  I can get about 60% off and that's it.  Does anyone else out there suffer from this?  And does anyone have any tips on how to master the art of actually peeling off a peel off face mask.  It's becoming quite irritating to me, so any suggestions and fellow suffers to make me feel better would be greatly appreciated!

As always - Staying Fabulous -

Money Saver Alert for a Brighter, Newer Complexion

So I used to be obsessed with the Philosophy "The Microdelivery Peel," but at $70 it is def a luxury on my current budget.  I would like to take this time to thank the powers that be at Oil of Olay for making the "Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System."  It is literally the same as the Philosophy one, but for only $30.  It is a two step system that will leave your skin feeling new again.  The first step is a dose of vitamin C with micro-crystals that exfoliate the skin and the second step is a dose of lactic acid that when combined with the first step will leave your skin feeling cleaner, fresher, and brighter.  If you have ever wanted to try the Philosophy one save your cash and go for the Olay one.  They are literally the same thing.  You can thank me later when you use it and you have glowing skin.

All Things Fabulous About Me

Hi everyone and welcome to my world.  My name is Kelly and I have a serious addiction to Sephora and all things makeup and skincare.  I love getting samples and can't wait to share my thoughts and opinions on makeup and all of the other things I care about with all of you.  To give you a little background on my life I have a wonderful husband, and two small furry kids. One is a miniature schnauzer named Dior and he is the love of my life.  He was my first dog so he will always hold a special place in my heart.  My other dog is Bella, a chi weenie.  She was a rescue we adopted and she is the cutest thing ever.  Everyone who meets her falls in love.   Kind of how I am whenever I hear about a new product that is out there.  I have to try it.  To give you a little insight into my addiction I have six boxes coming in this week.  Three from Sephora, one from Ulta, one from Benefit, and one from Too Faced.  I have a passion for kits - my belief is you can never have enough, which would explain why I have a crazy amount of them.  I love experimenting with new looks.  I also love shopping and all things bling and animal print.  I'm an avid reader, so when I'm not browsing Sephora I've got my nose in a book.  So there you have it, a little insight into the fabulous life I lead.  I can't wait to share my thoughts with you on everything I love and hear your feedback.

The Always Fabulous,
Kelly
