March IPSY Glam Bag

My March IPSY bag came and as always it filled me with a little (okay a lot) of joy.  Here is what came in my March bag:

Here is all that was included:

A supercute bag by klari for ipsy.  According to the bag, "the print of this exclusive ipsy makeup bag is a selection from artist Klari Reis' geography-based series, "Street Anatomy," and showcases San Fransisco, CA.  To view more from Klari visit her website at www.klariart.com."  I think it is super cute, and wonder if this is a trend ipsy is going to continue.

Nicole by OPI Roughles collection nail polish which doesn't require a top coat in "On What Grounds?"  I haven't tried this yet but by the looks of the bottle it looks like it has has a sand-like finish.  The color is a really pretty turqouise color and I'm excited to try it.  I think it's going to be a great summer color.

PACIFICA Indian Coconut Nectar Body Butter which claims to be an intensely moisturizing cream with skin loving naturals.  It says it's a "a warm blend of sultry fresh coconut and delicate creamy vanilla."  It is 100% vegan and cruelty free.  The smell is weird.  It smells divine coming out of the bottle but weird when it hits your hands.  Like a weird all natural bathroom cleaner.  I will definitely be trashing this sample or re-gifting it.

be a ... bombshell eyeshadow quad in bora bora.  The colors included in the quad are Starlet, Bora Bora, Risky Business, and Rock Bottom.  They are all very vibrant colors and will look great come summer.  (BTW if you are a be a...bombshell lover or have ever wanted to try it get thee to that website now!  With ipsy they are running 40% off your entire purchase plus a free lip color!)

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Get Ready which is a dark pink/light mauve color.  I love all of Bare Minerals products (excluding their foundation) so I'm excited to try this product out.  And as a bonus, if you order from Bare Minerals this month through the end of April and use your ipsy code you get a free sample of their Lash Domination mascara and free shipping.

I can't wait to try the makeup and nail polish.  The three products together (lip, eye, and nail) will make a super cute summer ensemble with a white or cream colored dress and turquoise and brown accessories.

Can't wait to see what IPSY brings me for April!

Best Balm I've Tried

So I ran across Balanced Guru's Balm Me Up when I got a sample in last months ipsy bag. It was love at first slather. I immediately went online to buy and even with the ipsy discount it was still $45 (this was after shipping and tax were included) which is just way too much to spend on lotion in my opinion. But....it was just so wonderful I went to eBay to see if I could get it cheaper. I ended up buying five travel size bottles and spent about $25. I soon realized I was going through the small bottles super quick so I broke down and bought the bigger bottle. It came yesterday and I'm super excited. The bottle is bigger than I had expected and the packaging is very eco-chick.

A little info about the balm:  It's all organic as is the majority of Balanced Guru's products.  This one has cocoa butter, babassi oil, shea butter, sweet orange, lime, and mandarin.  It smells divine!!!  The bottle claims "to treat your whole body with a smooth and buttery balm.  Enriched with healthy butters and an invigorating blend of essential oils that will wake up your senses and moisturize your skin without leaving it greasy or tacky."  Now the last part is a lie, it definately leaves your hands greasy so I only use it at night.  I use that and mix it with a body oil and put on gloves and wake up every morning to the softest hands.  This is quite an expensive product for lotion, but for the smell and the moisture it delivers I have to say it is def worth the money.  This product can be purchased from Balanced Guru's website which is www.balancedguru.com and it is $45 plus shipping and tax for the 4 oz bottle and $12 plus shipping and tax for a 1 oz bottle.

And as a plus, they sent me a decent size sample of their No Frizz Oil for hair which I haven't tried, but if it's anything as amazing as the balm I'm sure it's awesome.

Tell Me I'm Not Alone in Suffering from Beauty PMS

Okay fellow beauty bloggers, please tell me I am not alone in suffering from PMS.  And no I'm not talking about that sneaky bitch that creeps up once a month.  I'm talking about Peeling Mask Syndrome.   What is Peeling Mask Syndrome you may ask?  Well I'm currently suffering from it and hating every minute of it.  Here is the lowdown.  No matter what I do I can never get a peeling face mask to actually peel all the way off.  I always have to scrub. No matter what I do.  Ive tried putting on more, putting on less, and still suffer.  I always end up having to scrub it off.  I can get about 60% off and that's it.  Does anyone else out there suffer from this?  And does anyone have any tips on how to master the art of actually peeling off a peel off face mask.  It's becoming quite irritating to me, so any suggestions and fellow suffers to make me feel better would be greatly appreciated!

As always - Staying Fabulous -
